The SCJ-owned brand also hosted a guerrilla marketing effort this past weekend on each coast.

Babyganics has rolled out new products: Sheer Blend Mineral Sunscreen Lotion and Baby Mosquito Repellent Lotion.
The SPF formula offers blendability and water-resistant SPF 50 in a tear-free formula, according to the company, which was founded in 2002 by two dads. It was acquired by SC Johnson in 2016.
The new SPF products include Sheer Blend Mineral Sunscreen Lotion and Totally Tropical Sheer Blend Mineral Sunscreen Lotion. The latter has a tropical fragrance.
The Sheer Blend Mineral Sunscreen Lotion is non-allergenic and free from oxybenzone, octinoxate, parabens and nano-particles.
The new Babyganics Baby Mosquito Repellent Lotion is non-greasy, easy-to-apply and feels great on skin for maximal protection, according to the brand. Formulated with essential oils including rosemary, citronella, geranium peppermint, cedarwood and lemongrass, it is designed to repel mosquitoes for up to 60 minutes.
The Sheer Blend Mineral Sunscreen Lotion and Baby Mosquito Repellent Lotion are made for children ages six months and up.
Both products are available at major retailers such as Amazon, Target and Walmart as well as through the brand’s direct-to-consumer site.
As brand created by parents, Babyganics understands the trials of parenting—like forgetting items like extra diapers, snacks and sunscreen to name just a few items that can make or break a day out of the house. (In fact, nearly one third of parents sometimes end up borrowing items from fellow parents after forgetting essential items). To that end, the brand this past weekend unveiled a new guerrilla marketing effort with the help of actress Nikki Reed.
Babyganics hosted two Oops! I Forgot It Again “grab-and-go-style” stands— stocked with the most forgotten items needed for a summer day of play—in New York and Los Angeles.
“If there’s anything that I’ve learned as a mother, it’s that it does take a village to raise your kids – which is why I’m excited to launch Oops! I Forgot It Again with Babyganics. This campaign provides parents a sense of community and support during the chaos of summer schedules, planning and preparation,” said Reed, who is also a mother of two.
According to a recent survey, the top five forgotten items by parents are sunscreen (51%), bug spray (48%), a change of clothes (43%), hand sanitizer (42%) and toys (34%).
The Babyganics Oops! I Forgot It Again stands were located at the Bleecker Playground and Santa Monica Pier.
